Do you provide pick ups for residential customers?

Unfortunately, no. Our facility license with Ramsey County, and our registration with MN PCA, only allows us to pick up electronic waste from commercial business clients.  

What does OVR do with my product?

Our Vision is committed to making the earth a greener place. That’s why we joined the recycling community. Our goal is reuse, reduce, and recycle. A portion of all working equipment is refurbished and donated back to local and other non-profit organizations and community groups, and the non-working equipment is responsibly recycled. Where do you send the recycled items?

OVR Has a Zero-Landfill • Overseas policy. All of our recycling is processed locally, through the proper channels, and with partnerships through other recyclers in the area, including: Integrated Recycling Technologies • Recycle Technologies Inc • Industrial Metals Inc • Earth First Computer Recycling • K&K Metal Recycling • Northern Metal Recycling – Scrappy’s • Belden Plastics just to name a few!

Do you accept hazardous materials?

Yes, with exceptions. Things like batteries, monitors (CRT)…these items have hazardous waste in them.  While we are not specifically a hazardous waste processor, we do have channels to properly dispose of them through our recycling vendors. In these cases a small surcharge for certain items may apply; however, the pickup is ALWAYS FREE! We do NOT take large appliances, such as refrigerators, AC units (or anything with freon condensers in it), stove-tops and ranges, or washers and dryers.

How can OVR do this service for free? 

The question you should be asking is why isn’t my current recycler doing this for free? We provide the same services as our competitors, along with FREE data sanitization; all with Recycling Certifications. Through intelligent business modeling and unique logistics, OVR sets the bar for how easy and FREE recycling should be.
